The 'Overland' Troopy fitout kit is part of the Dogged Campers Trailhead Series, designed to get you on the road in the most affordable and comfortable way possible. It is one of the lightest Troopy fitout kits on the market.
For this kit, Ellis has kept the bed/seat low enough so you can comfortably sit down inside the vehicle without needing a poptop. It is 266cm high and requires a custom cut mattress for best fit. He has made the bed as wide as possible without sacrificing valuable storage space. At its widest point the bed is 110cm, at its narrowest (opposite the fridge) it is 93cm and is 188cm long.
Left side kitchen drawer on 227kg locking runners with pull-out extension.
Right side drawer with 2x removable dividers, not on runners (This saves a lot on weight and cost while maximizing useable drawer space. Does not greatly effect functionality.) Inside open storage with bungee cord to keep items in place.
Multiple internal storage boxes - see pictures for further detail of configuration.
Medium fridge space is 455mm x 750mm, will fit:
- National Luna 60L
- Dometic 55L
- Engel 40L
- Bushman 35-52L

Large fridge space is 500 x 800mm, will fit:
- Engel 80L

Stove space dimensions: Stove space is 580mm x 360mm x 155mm.
Materials: Premium finish 12mm Hexaply.
Installation costs: Price includes full assembly and install at the Fairy Meadow workshop in NSW.

How the Troopy fitout kit process works:
- Choose your extras and order your kit
- If you prefer to pay a 50% deposit, and the rest prior to fitting, email us - [email protected] - and we will send you an invoice which will allow you to confirm your order with a deposit.
- Allow 2-3 weeks lead time for the kit to be cut and assembled
- We'll reach out to organise a time for you to drop your vehicle off. Ellis will need it for a full day at his Fairy Meadows NSW workshop.
- Pick up your vehicle and hit the road!
Please note: Hexaply is a MR (moisture resistant) rated material, so will not absorb moisture from the air. As it is designed as a budget conscious product, the exposed edges are only lightly sanded and are not sealed (unless the 'Sanded & Sealed' option is selected on checkout).
